You are enjoying a nice dinner out, when suddenly a shot rings out and a person slumps to the ground! It sounds like the beginning of a paperback novel but it is the premise of the Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Theater in Pigeon Forge.
If you are looking for an evening of fun,campy-ness, good food, and a most unusual theater experience, then the Murder Mystery Theater is for you. Why? Because you become part of the show. And there are three different shows that you can enjoy at three different times;
“Marcia, Marcia Murder – formerly “The Bradley Bunch” – has a family of brothers and sisters left at home alone for the weekend while Mom and Dad take a well-deserved break. Every thing is going well until Marcia, the vain and self-centered daughter – wants everything to be about her. This has the siblings fighting over who is going to put her in her place – or on the floor.
“Who Dunnit Lucy” stars America’s favorite redhead and her husband Ricky Bacardi. She wants to be in his new show and he is bound and determined to not let that happen. But will he go so far as to end her interest by ending her life??
The third show is very appropriate for the Great Smoky Mountains and its history of moonshining. It is “The Moonshine Murders Good Ol Boys Murder Mystery” and it stars the Luke boys, Boss Boar and his deputy Roscetta P. Ketrain, and the Celebrity Speed Trap Concert starring Elvis. Who could ask for anything more?
