SAWYER BROWN ROCKED THE ROOF AT COUNTRY TONITE IN PIGEON FORGE!

From the very first song – “Six Days On The Road And I’m Gonna Make It Home Tonight” – to the encore song – “Some Girls Do” – Sawyer Brown rocked the Country Tonite Theater. Lead singer Mark Miller said their plan was to play 33 years of music and they played their Star Search songs and songs from their latest album, their 23rd!

Lead guitarist Bobby Randall took over the mike and cranked-out a good rendition of the Steve Miller Band’s “Keep On Rockin’ Me Baby”, then keyboardist Gregg Hubbard took the mike from Miller’s mike stand and went nuts with his version of the Joe Walsh song “Life’s Been Good To Me”.

The evening included “The Boys and Me”, “All These Years”, and a song off their new album, “Travelin’ Band”. Miller paid tribute to his wife of 23 years with a song he wrote for her, “Smokin’ Hot Wife”.

The crowd was on their feet in appreciation for a great show even though most of the crowd was seeing Sawyer Brown live for the first time. Miller commented, “you ‘all need to get out more”. Bobby Bare and Connie Smith are up next on Friday, July 26the at the Country Tonite Celebrity Series in Pigeon Forge, TN in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
