CHRISTMAS SHOWS CELEBRATE THE SEASON IN THE TENNESSEE SMOKIES!

The Tennessee Smokies is a great place to spend the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. All of the cities decorate for the season and light up the streets and stores with Christmas lights and animated displays. There are Trolley Tours, Hayrides, Parades and special events, but one of the most delightful and enjoyable things to do are
going to the live Christmas programs produced by the theaters in Pigeon Forge. Country Tonite, Smoky Mountain Opry, Hatfield & McCoy, Comedy Barn, Lumberjack Feud, The Blackwoods, Terry Evanswood, America’s Hit Parade and Soul of Motown all do Christmas shows.

Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry features the area’s largest living nativity, plus Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick, flying sugar plum fairies, soaring angels, dancing elves and enchanted reindeer.

You can start your day at the Blackwoods Morning Christmas Show at the Smoky Mountain Opry. The  Blackwoods
will perform the holiday’s best and most inspiring hymns and gospel music.

The magic of
Christmas abounds at Country Tonite with Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus, the dance
of the Sugar Plum Fairy and toys that come alive with the magical song,
“Where are you Christmas”.

The Grand Majestic Theater presents two shows – The America’s Hit Parade ~Tis the Season Show, with Christmas hits through the Decades – and The Soul of Motown show with some of Motown’s greatest holiday songs.

The area also offers some very non-traditional Christmas programs that are must-see entertainment.

Jingle Bells, Shotgun Shells and plenty of food, fun, singing and dancing and holiday mayhem is offered at the Hatfield & McCoy Christmas Disaster Dinner & Show.

The Comedy Barn® offers Christmas music, Christmas costumes, and
Christmas acts – all in their own special comedic way.
The Lumberjack Feud presents A
Smoky Mountain Christmas Story with Elfer, Santa, high flying
Timberdogs and those highly skilled Lumberjacks competing to provide the Christmas tree for the North Pole.
Terry Evanswood makes the magic of Christmas even more magical with comedy, music and grand scale illusions.

Whichever live shows you choose to see, you will enjoy yourself. If you can, take your family to several of these musical, funny and heartwarming live shows featuring talented singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and musicians, and leave with holiday memories that will remind you of the holiday fun that you had in Pigeon Forge.
